Job Summary

Spot by NetApp is a leading company specializing in cloud workload automation, dedicated to enhancing performance, simplifying complexity, and reducing compute infrastructure costs. As a prominent player in the cloud optimization field, Spot by NetApp tackles numerous challenges. Our research team develops solutions for critical issues involving large-scale data from thousands of customers. We collaborate closely with the product teams to implement cutting-edge technology in real-world scenarios.

Responsibilities:

• Develop data-driven models for various cloud-related topics, such as workload allocation, anomaly detection, and spot availability.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest architectures and become an expert in relevant literature.
• Collaborate with the product team to design solutions that effectively address customer needs.
• Work closely with the R&D team to scale our solutions using the latest MLOps technologies.
  
  

Job Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a similar role/academic experience
• MSc or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in machine learning.
• Strong proficiency in Python coding.
• Excellent analytical skills.
  
  

Preferred skills:

• Familiarity with major cloud services like AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Experience with deep learning frameworks, such as PyTorch.
• Theoretical knowledge in the field of time-series prediction.
• Track record of publications in machine learning or related conferences like NeurIPS, ICML, AAAI, ICLR, and others.
