Java Team Leader Repo team

We are looking for an excellent hands-on R&D team lead who has great technical and management skills, lives and breathes the cloud-native world, and is well-versed in the latest technologies and trends.

Your Day-to-day Will Consist Of

• Working with innovative technologies in scale to build Mend’s next-generation Cloud Native security platform
• Ensuring that software architecture aligns with business needs and technical constraints.
• Participating in design meetings and making the engineering roadmap
• Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders to refine requirements and prioritize features.
• Continuously optimize the system for performance, scalability, and fault tolerance.
• Supervising development, ensuring technical excellence and timely delivery
• Driving innovation, high product quality
• Mentor and guide team members, providing constructive feedback on their work.
  
  

You Must Have

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience managing development teams- Must!
• 5+ years of development experience in Java and one of the programming languages
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
• Strong understanding of Docker & Kubernetes internals
• Experience with AWS/Azure clouds
• Experience with CI/CD flows and methodologies in Cloud environment
• Proven architecture/design skills
• Great leadership skills
• High motivation and an ambition for excellence
  
  

Nice To Have

• Experience with React, Typescript, Python / C# / GO
• Experience with event-driven architecture and Kafka
• Experience with other cloud-native technologies or platforms.
