About The Role

Pagaya’s Research department trains ML models to predict credit worthiness. In this role, you will work alongside data scientists, review their research summaries and code, understand the work done in detail to write external facing documentation. You will run Python code to generate relevant graphs, give insight into the results and respond to questions related to our machine learning from our partners and banks.

The position is ideal for data science students towards the end of their degree, who can being working full-time before the school year begins and continue part-time (40-50%) afterwards.

Responsibilities

• Documenting machine learning models for external parties - business partners and banks, following standard templates.
• Run Python code to generate graphs and comparisons of new models
• Explain findings and justify new models
  
  

Requirements

• BSc (or towards end of degree) in Machine Learning related subject - Data Science, Statistics, etc
• Write and understand Python code
• Solid background of Machine Learning theory
• Excellent written English skills, including explaining complex technical concepts in a clear manner
• Organized and independent, can work under uncertainty and ambiguity
