Hypervision is a start-up company developing optical solutions for virtual and mixed reality (VR/MR) platforms. In 2023, Hypervision has released its second generation of optics which demonstrated an unmatched performance in the industry. Now the company is working on customizations and mass production for its customers.

We are based in Yokneam Illit, and are looking to recruit a Bachelor/Master mechanical engineering student or a recent graduate to join our team. Job Description

The duties include the development of opto-mechanics for the Hypervision visual engine, development of the mechanical parts for the mass production equipment, carrying out optical lab tests and analysis, and accompanying the prototyping and fabrication processes. You will also be conducting research on cutting-edge technologies for the VR/XR industry. We are a small team, and you will be given a chance to adjust your role.

Requirements

·      Last year B.Sc/ M.Sc student in mechanical engineering

·      Ability to work at least 100 hours/monthly, on site

·      Proficiency in Solidworks or other CAD software- a must

·      Familiarity with Python or Matlab

·      Knowledge in optics (geometrical optics, diffraction, polarization) is an advantage.

·      Passion for the world of virtual reality

·      Self-learner and detail oriented

·      Fluent English, both verbal and written - a must

A fitting candidate will be given an opportunity to embed his/her work in Hypervision in a thesis or final project in academy.
