Budgeting & Economics Department

JOB DESCRIPTION:

a. Budgeting university units and activities as part of the regular budget.

b. Ongoing monitoring and control of resources.

c. Collect and analyze economic and budgetary information on relevant topics.

d. Write professional opinions, position papers, financial studies and pricing of activities.

e. Write budget reports for internal and external parties.

f. Assist in the advancement and development of computerized budgeting systems.

g. Partner up in conducting negotiations with entities inside and outside BGU.

h. Additional tasks under the supervisor’s direction.

i. Subordination: Head of Regular Budget Division.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

a. Bachelor's degree in Economics - single or double major with economic or STEM-based fields, accounting, industrial engineering and management.

b. Four years’ experience in the relevant fields.

c. Experience in working with computerized budgeting and financial systems.

d. Experience in writing position papers and presenting data.
