Data Engineering Tech Lead

A forward-thinking company specializing in search monetization solutions for websites, extensions, apps, and search engines is looking for a Data Engineering Tech Lead.

The company provides tools to help publishers improve user experience and drive revenues across desktop and mobile. The company has important partnerships with top search providers and is Microsoft's global supply partner for advertising.

As a Data Engineering Tech Lead, you will build data-driven solutions using cutting-edge data tools and large-scale data on the company’s AWS data infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Spearhead data solution development across the product life cycle.
• Collaborate closely with analysts, product teams, and R&D to deliver optimal business solutions.
• Formulate solutions by comprehending requirements, data modeling, tool selection, and interface/report definition.
• Ensure solution stability, scalability, and continuous delivery of accurate data.
• Oversee interfaces with data partners and coordinate with other R&D teams for timely solution deployment.
• Cultivate in-depth expertise in the business domains covered by the solutions you manage.
• Conduct research and proof of concepts (POCs) to explore new technologies and tools, contributing to our ongoing improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Working as a Data/BigData Engineer for the past 3 years or more.
• Previous strong engineering background (development, BI, Analytics, etc).
• Demonstrated proficiency in Python, and Spark.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL.
• Strong experience in web/cloud services (especially AWS), and data visualization tools (particularly Tableau) is highly advantageous.
