NPI Engineer

Lead end-to-end NPI activities from product development through mass production.
• Serve as the primary technical interface between R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Operations, and Supply Chain teams.
• Drive technology transfer activities from design engineering into manufacturing environments.
• Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to support production scalability and efficiency.
• Lead prototype, engineering, qualification, and pilot production builds.
• Establish manufacturing readiness plans and ensure production launch requirements are met.
• Provide on-site engineering support during NPI builds, production ramp-up activities, and critical manufacturing operations.
• Drive root cause investigations and corrective actions for manufacturing, process, and yield-related issues.
• Develop manufacturing ation, work instructions, process flows, and production standards.
• Partner with Design Engineering to ensure DFM, DFA, and DFT requirements are incorporated into product designs.
• Monitor production yields, cycle times, quality metrics, and process performance indicators.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, capacity enhancement, and manufacturing optimization.
• Support qualification, validation, and release of new manufacturing equipment, tooling, and test systems.
• Lead cross-functional reviews and drive issue resolution across multiple organizations.
• Support contract manufacturers and global production partners during NPI and production ramp-up activities.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in NPI Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, or related technical roles.
• Experience transferring products from R&D into manufacturing and mass production environments.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production systems, and industrialization methodologies.
• Experience supporting prototype builds, pilot production, and manufacturing ramp-up activities.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting manufacturing and process-related issues.
• Strong knowledge of root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies.
• Excellent project management and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Fluent English – mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in aerospace, electronics, telecommunications, satellite systems, or high-reliability manufacturing environments.
• Experience working with contract manufacturers and global production partners.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Familiarity with PLM, ERP, and manufacturing execution systems.
