About The Role
Due to the growth of the business, DNV Maritime Area East Med & Black Sea is looking for a dynamic and experienced professional from the marine industry to join our team of Surveyors in Israel.
The position reports to the Israel Operations Manager, Maritime.
Main Duties & Responsibilities Include:
- Perform FIS Surveys (mainly) according to rules and regulations as well as support other service lines within maritime (Component and Materials Certification).
- Effectively interact with owner’s representatives at the yard.
- Participate in certification and verification of material & products according to rules and specified standards.
- Manage clients together with other relevant parts of our organization.
- Complete project-oriented work, including cooperation in interdisciplinary verification projects.
- Perform project control, reporting, and follow-up within the due date.
- Responsible for professional and consistent deliveries throughout the project - plan, coordinate, follow up and improve the operational activities of the project by the framework in the DNV strategy, budget, the DMS, and other applicable instructions.

About You
- Approximately 4-5 years of marine industry experience, preferably as a surveyor in a classification society
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Naval Architecture / Marine Engineering from a well-known Technical University
- Valid driving license
- Availability for traveling, including voyage surveys
- Fluency in English & Hebrew
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Open-minded;
- Caring for your colleagues and customers;
- Trustworthy and responsible;
- Quick and curious learner;
- Team player but also able to work independently on surveys;
- Able to build good relationships with different stakeholders;
- Able to work well in dynamic and busy working conditions;
- Self-driven and highly engaged professional
