Procurement Lead Buyer

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Lead Buyer to join our fast growing team in our

Rehovot site.

Role Responsibilities:

 Leading different Procurement processes for the different categories such as biological materials,

HW/SW, Subcontractors and OEMs , Maintenance and other services providers.

 Managing suppliers, handling purchase orders and day-to-day issues, problem solving

 Working closely with different stakeholders within the company such as R&D, OPR, Finance,

Management etc.

 Leading proactive cost reduction activities

 Tracking and updating internal requestors on PR’s & PO’s to ensure timely delivery and preparing and

presenting control reports, analytics of procurement activities.

 Improving workflows and processes within the department while using ERP and other control tools and

systems.

 Place Purchase orders, with approved vendors based on approved requisitions or planned

replenishment needs.

 Monitor vendor delivery schedules and follow up on any overdue orders.

 Providing technical support for sourcing and purchasing for new items and vendors and recording

engineering & technological changes in purchases items database.

 Key user for the ERP and SFC (OneView, Optum) systems, building and improving work procedures.

 Conducting RFI’s & RFQ's for selection of new suppliers and cost reduction- writing specifications,

tracking new suppliers, commercial negotiations

 Responsible for guiding and overseeing Purchasing admin and vendor schedulers including goods

receiving from suppliers, quality check and approvals for payment processing.

 Issuing purchase orders in the ERP system.

 Recording vendor’s invoices in ERP and interacting with vendors and Finance when required.

Requirements and Experience:

 Minimum 3 years of experience as Procurement Buyer/Category leader etc.

 Experience in procurement from local and global vendors including import/export practices.

 Experience with Medical Device or Pharmaceuticals companies – an advantage.

 Procurement Experience in R&D start-up environment as well as operations, manufacturing and supply

chain procedures.

 Technological Background- Advantage

 Proven negotiation skills

 Team player, able to multitask and work under pressure in an agile environment.

 Efficient, open minded and creative problem-solver

 Proactive approach and ability to work independently, High problem solving, analytical skills and

decision-making abilities.

 Work experience in a start-up organization-and advantage

 Excellent with Microsoft Office applications

 Hands-on experience with ERP software- MRP, Inventory management, Purchasing procedures.

 BA/MBA in relevant fields - advantage

 High level of English – reading, speaking, writing
