Network Professional - Job Description Summary

Responsible for the administration and support of the corporate’s network, participating in global projects worldwide, collaborating with cross-functional IT teams and providing on-site support for the labs and users in the Israeli offices. This role provides a great opportunity for growth in the IT networking field.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, resolving incidents, and providing both remote and on-site (Israel only) technical support for the users in the company.
• Making configuration changes, maintenance, and upgrade operations in the network.
• Creating and maintaining detailed inventory and documentation of the network.
• Continuingly monitoring the network status and gathering insights and reports of its different metrics.
• Supporting cross-functional IT & facilities teams in global projects and ongoing tasks.
• Creating automation processes for the global network operations.
• Lead and participate in other projects to improve the network infrastructure.

Qualifications

• A very good understanding of networking fundamentals (CCNA/CCNP level).
• Deep understanding of routing protocols: OSPF, EIGRP, IS-IS, BGP.
• High level of understanding network topologies and architecture, including modern designs like SDN.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco’s network devices – switches, routers and wireless (both enterprise and data center).
• Hand-on experience with security systems – firewalls, NAC, VPN (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco).
• A great troubleshooting skills.
• A team player with positive attitude and good collaboration skills.
• A customer facing approach.
• Ability to execute projects with thoroughness and rigor.
• A passionate and eager to learn (and self-learn).
• Python scripting knowledge – advantage.
• Operating Linux systems – advantage.
• Cloud infrastructure knowledge – AWS, Azure – advantage.

Additional requirements / information

• Travel to remote sites (in Israel) when required.
• Duration – one year with potential for a longer-term period.
• High-level English is mandatory.
