Plastics Purchasing Buyer

Plastics Purchasing team is looking for the next player to join the team!

As a Plastic Purchasing Buyer you will,

Manage the ongoing relationship with subcontractors and suppliers in order to include ongoing deliveries, OTD.

Analyzing production capacity of subcontractors.

Leading streamlining processes and Cost Reduction.

Dealing with procurement requirements: generating Blankets purchase orders, Managing follow-up and control of purchase orders and OTD, delivery risks, supplier performance.

Participation in forums and multi-interface projects, including: R&D, production engineering, planning and QA.

Responsible for supplier evaluation processes, handling quality problems with suppliers, responding to logistical problems and providing solutions within the organization.

Carrying out system maintenance in general on an ongoing basis - maintaining databases for OBSOLETE, EOL, Revision updates for SKUs, ETC.

Requirements,

1. At least 5 years Experience in purchasing, in a manufacturing industrial company (preference in the field of plastics).
2. Experience in purchasing plastic raw materials.
3. IT engineer / bachelor's degree in economics/business administration or any other relevant degree.
4. Knowledge and experience in ERP - PRIORITY and full knowledge of office systems.
5. Good level of English and Hebrew
6. In-depth knowledge of the production processes in the field of plastics, including tenders and injection mold production processes - Advantage
