IT Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive IT Systems Engineer to join our Global IT team. In this role, you will be instrumental in the overall management, maintenance, monitoring, and optimization of the company's global data center, server and storage infrastructure, Microsoft 365 platform, and endpoint management across both on-premises and cloud environments.

As part of the Systems & DevOps team, you will take ownership of systems, operating systems, hardware, and storage infrastructure. You will lead technical initiatives, support critical IT services, and serve as a Tier-3 escalation point for complex technical challenges while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Overall management and monitoring of the organization's server and storage infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Install, configure, maintain, and monitor operating systems, applications, and system management tools.
• Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of enterprise infrastructure.
• Provide Tier-3 IT support for complex technical issues across global business units.
• Troubleshoot and resolve advanced infrastructure and system-related challenges.
• Collaborate with global IT teams and cross-functional departments on infrastructure projects and operational improvements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including automation and AI-driven solutions to enhance IT services and operational efficiency.
• Maintain high service levels while ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of IT services.

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience as a System / Infrastructure Engineer in a global high-tech or enterprise environment.

Core Infrastructure & Virtualization
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies, including Microsoft 365, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, AD Connect, and related services.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with VMware vSphere (6.x/7.x), including installation, configuration, administration, and system design.
• Familiarity with physical servers, networking, and enterprise datacenter infrastructure.

Cloud & Identity Management
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Cloud and Identity Management.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure, including:
Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Identity & Access Management, SSO, and RBAC.
Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and related services.
• Strong understanding of hybrid cloud architectures and cloud security best practices.
• Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Route53, FSx) and core AWS security concepts (IAM, VPC, KMS).

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) – Advantage.
• Familiarity with cloud monitoring and security tools.
Operating Systems & Endpoint Management

• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Windows Client OS, Linux, and macOS.
• Experience managing macOS devices using Jamf Pro (or similar).
• Experience with Microsoft Intune and endpoint management solutions.

Storage & Backup
• Hands-on experience with enterprise storage solutions (NetApp, QNAP, BlueXP, NAS/SAN).
• Experience with enterprise backup solutions (Commvault / Metallic – Advantage).

Security & Automation
• Security-oriented mindset with experience in system hardening, patch management, and access control.
• Experience with PowerShell and/or Python scripting for automation and system administration.

Soft Skills
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills in enterprise production environments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across global teams.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
