We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Spam and Fraud Prevention Manager (SFPM) to join our team. The ideal candidate will understand the business and technical needs, with a proven track record of successfully launching and managing projects within the spam and fraud areas.
As a SFPM you will be responsible for defining the product roadmap and strategy, you will gather and prioritize product and customer requirements whilst working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product delivery. To succeed in this role, it is crucial you have the ability to deal with ambiguity in a fast-changing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a high-performing team of Spam & Fraud analysts, create collaborative and productive work environment, and set their objectives that align with the company KPIs
- Work closely with Product, Legal, Data, Customer Support and other cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products, understand their needs, define KPIs and develop and execute a strategy for Spam prevention & Fraud system while minimizing false-positives.
- Fine-tuning existing systems and proposing new solutions where needed
- On going research of users behavior - execute complex SQL queries to identify baseline and suspicious patterns, trends, and anomalies associated with spam and fraudulent activities
- Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, market and user reviews on App experience
- At least 3 years of R&D (Backend or Full stack developer) experience
- At least 2 years in managing a Spam/Fraud team (of at least 3 team members)
- Strong SQL & analytical skills with experience in analyzing big data and data-driven approach to decision-making
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

- Flexibility, ability to adapt to changing priorities, tight deadlines, multitasking, ambiguity, and make complex decisions in a rapidly changing environment
- Experience in B2C mobile apps and fraud prevention
- Experience with user trust and safety
- Experience working with AWS
- Experience with agile development methodologies
- Native Russian speaker
