PHP Developer

A startup company in the field of home design and renovation, with a social and sales platform. The company is developing and maintaining its websites, with two websites in the home improvement sector in the United States. The websites are very popular, and the activity is growing, with over 10 million users!

Based in the Jerusalem area, they have a remote work arrangement for two days a week. There are about 40 employees in Israel and approximately 100 employees worldwide.

The role involves PHP development, working with the cloud, and joining a small team.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience as a Back End Developer

• PHP experience

• some strongly-typed language (Java, Python etc)- A plus

• Hands-on experience working with relational DB engines (SQL,MYSQL etc)

• Smart, independent, accountable and a team player.

• English at mother-tongue level.

• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, KV stores (Redis, DynamoDB), AWS/GCP is a plus.

• Experience with Javascript and React - a plus.

• Excellent knowledge and understanding of OOP concepts and best practices.
