Data Engineer

A company in the Cyber field that develops cloud-based systems enabling secure and fast organizational communication. The company's goal is to provide a solution for reducing IT complexities by consolidating communication and security capabilities in the cloud to a single platform, thereby increasing efficiency and speed in security processes with low operational costs.

They employ approximately 700 employees worldwide, with about 400 of them in Israel. Located in

Tel Aviv, within walking distance of a train station, they operate on a hybrid work model, with three days at the office.

Joining the infrastructure team involves tasks related to data processing, storage, retrieval, data processing, and working with APIs. They continuously implement new technologies, such as transitioning from Elastic to Clickhouse, which has a significant impact on the role, involving architecture design and more.

They work with a stack that includes Java, AWS, microservices, Kubernetes (k8s), MySQL, Clickhouse, Storm, Spark, Kafka.

Requirements:

• 3 years of experience with massive large-scale data systems platforms (Storm, Spark, Kafka, SQS...) and design principles
• Hands-on experience with design and development production of large-scale distributed systems with an emphasis on performance
• Familiarity with no-SQL DBs and relational DBs. We’re using technologies such as Elasticsearch, MySQL, Clickhouse, and Redis.
• Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and software engineering principles
