Data Engineer

A successful startup in the field of Cloud Data Security, the company is considered a market leader in Data Security Posture Management. They develop technology that seamlessly and quickly integrates with organizational applications, automatically classifying data to identify sensitive information and improve its protection.

The primary role in the company will be a data science engineer, responsible for developing data infrastructure in Python, data pipelines, and collaborating with the research team responsible for classification, the "brain" of the product, optimizing models, and developing research tools.

You will work in a cloud environment using Snowflake, Kafka, Airflow, and machine learning frameworks.

The company is located in Tel Aviv and offers a combination of two days of remote work. They have a global workforce of 120 employees, with 70 in Israel.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in backend/data engineering roles, with a proven track record of deploying code in production environments.

• Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and frameworks (such as PyTorch, HuggingFace, Sklearn).

• Experience with big data technologies, such as DataBricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, Kafka, and Spark.

• In-depth understanding of public cloud platforms (GCP/AWS/Azure) and application architectures and technologies.

• Hands-on experience with existing MLOps tools (e.g., Airflow, Prefect, DVC) and a passion for building custom tools from scratch.
