CFO

Flytrex is revolutionizing the food delivery business by making drone delivery a reality, and we’re looking for a Chief Financial Officer who will play a vital role in managing and overseeing both our US and Israeli financial operations.

As the CFO you will be responsible for developing and implementing financial strategies, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and monitoring company expenses.

We're looking for a smart, fire-and-forget, hands-on kind of person - someone who will own and manage his tasks and responsibilities in a proactive, strategic manner.

This position requires an organized, coherent, dynamic individual with a strong finance background and a deep understanding of the startup ecosystem.

This is a hands-on position, suitable for either an experienced CFO who is not afraid of hard work, or a VP Finance who is looking to move up.

Main Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy: Develop and execute the financial strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives. Provide strategic recommendations to the executive team on financial matters, risk management, and resource allocation.

Financial Planning and Analysis: Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accurate financial projections and identifying areas for improvement. Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making, including revenue and profitability analysis, cost optimization, and pricing strategies.

Financial Reporting: Prepare timely and accurate financial reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders and partners. Maintain transparency and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Cash Flow Management: Oversee cash flow planning and monitor financial liquidity. Develop strategies to optimize working capital, manage debt, and mitigate financial risks.

Manage relationships with financial institutions, and other stakeholders. Collaborate with the executive team in preparing financial models for investor presentations.

Financial Operations: Establish and maintain robust financial systems, policies, and procedures. Ensure efficient and accurate financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and tax compliance.

Team Leadership: Build and manage a high-performing finance team. Provide guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to team members. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (MBA or CFA preferred).
• Proven experience as a finance leader in a startup or high-growth environment focused on the US/European market.
• Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
• Familiarity with B2C startup metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), and investor reporting.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance standards.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with the capacity to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Prior experience with NetSuite and Vensure is a plus.
• A native English speaker is a major plus.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
