UX/UI designer Team Leader

The trusted comparison websites we create help shoppers make smarter and confident decisions about the products they buy.

We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced Design Team Leader to join our growing team.

The successful candidate will be required to:

• Lead your team to excellence in practice, production, and execution with attention to corporate and functional strategies as well as a design vision
• Build a design culture that encourages innovation while balancing the need for optimization
• Hire and guide quality Design talent
• Collaborate with the product, engineering, science, and marketing teams to develop a high-end look and feel
• Work closely with development teams to ensure that design specifications are implemented
• Handle team assignments and performance issues
• Design and specify user interfaces and information architecture using participatory and iterative design techniques
• Produce user requirements specifications, personas, storyboards, scenarios, flowcharts, design prototypes, and design specifications
• Effectively communicate research findings, conceptual ideas, detailed design, and design rationale both verbally and visually
• Stay up to date with new technologies, industry and design trends and demonstrate a passion for learning

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in web designing
• 3+ years in leading a design team
• Strong knowledge in working with design system, design process, UX/UI, and project management
• Strong leadership and social skills
• Experience collaborating closely with R&D and Product teams
• Positive attitude with a willingness to put aside ego for the sake of what’s best for the team and the company
• Possess the ability to adapt, switch gears, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Creative and outside of the box thinker
