Head of Information Systems

Job Description

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Head of Information Systems to lead our IT infrastructure, systems (on-prem and cloud) and devops, encompassing data management, GPU servers, global operations, and physical hardware installations and configurations, multimedia systems, video conferencing, and security systems.

Responsibilities

The Head of Information Systems will be responsible for planning and executing the overall IT strategy to support the company's goals and objectives.

• Build and lead a team of IT professionals, devops and system administrator
• Strategic planning - aligning the IT strategy with company's objectives and looking ahead
• Big data management - efficiently manage, plan and scale petabytes of data
• Infrastructure management - overseeing the maintenance and optimization of our VMs, networking, containerization technology, and security measures
• CI/CD - Managing the Jenkins pipeline ensuring rapid and reliable SW releases
• High-Performance Computing (HPC) - Leading GPU optimization for data and compute intensive workloads
• Vendors management for all IT needs
  
  

• Proven experience (10+ years) in a senior IT/DevOps role, with demonstrable leadership and strategic planning skills.
• Expertise in VMware Virtualization, Networking, Firewall, VLAN, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, CUDA, and Linux and Microsoft administration.
• Expertise with MacOS platforms.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
• Experience with high-performance computing and GPU processing is a significant advantage.
• Familiar with Python/Bash/C/C++.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS, Microsoft, VMware, etc.) are a plus.
• In-depth knowledge of IT security, compliance, and best practices for a variety of IT areas.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
