Networking Lab Manager

The R&D Modeling Group is responsible for collecting configuration data from network devices, vulnerability scanners, and network management frameworks, analyzing this data and creating a detailed network model for the Skybox platform. We are looking for a highly motivated Networking specialist to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Managing R&D lab of network devices and all cloud lab environments hosted in AWS, Azure and GCP, ACI, PRISMA.
• Creation of complicated environments with products of known security vendors (such as Check Point, Palo Alto, Cisco, Fortinet, etc.)
• Performed day-to-day network technical operations in a lab environment deploying, troubleshooting, and managing network components.
• Support the design, deployment and production and lab configurations.
• Responsibilities encompass day-to-day lab operational activities, operations of the infrastructure technologies, and data center lab services.
• Work closely with Product Owners, QA, Software engineers and IT department, as part of R&D team on day-to-day tasks and projects.
• Management all licensing activities (renewals, purchasing and NFR)
• Delivering High Quality Results on time and budget.
• Documenting & Reporting.

Desired Skills And Experience

• At least 3 years of hand on experience with network cyber security technologies.
• Experience for design, installation, maintenance, and operation of medium to large networks, consisting of network equipment, packet/flow monitors, security tools like:
• Cisco switches, ASA clusters, Firepower clusters, Cisco management solutions.
• Palo Alto [gateway cluster, Vsys, Management].
• Fortinet [gateway cluster, manager, analyzer, Adoms, Vdoms].
• F5 [LTM/ASM/APM].
• Checkpoint [gateway cluster, Management, Log serves, MDS, MLM, VSX gateway clusters].
• Juniper [switches, SRX clusters].
• Forcepoint [gateway, clusters, management].
• McAfee/Trend-Micro etc.
• Excellent network troubleshooting and debugging skills [working with Wire Shark, NMAP, TCP dump etc.].
• Scanners [Qualys, rapid7, twistlock]
• NSX-T
• Knowledge and experience with cloud environments [AWS, Azure, GCP, ACI, PRISMA].
• Advanced networking knowledge and experience networking (VLANs, dynamic routing, dot1.x authentication, etc.).
• Well versed with CLI, SNMP and Security tools.
• Vast knowledge in Linux [RedHat, CentOS].
• Knowledge on virtualization infrastructures.
• Programming knowledge in Python, shell-scripting or Terraform.
• Knowledge on other security and networking products is a plus.
• Excellent Collaboration skills.
• Self-learner personality.
