Novocure is a leading medical device company developing a revolutionary treatment for cancer based on the use of electric fields. We are looking for student for research assistant position to join our preclinical team.

The jobholder will be part of the preclinical team and is required to assist in all research activities according to the procedures and to record scientific reports.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for performing in vitro and in vivo experiments according to good laboratory practice.

Responsible for maintenance of the lab area, working surfaces and the facility's equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE:

Qualifications:

Student of Life Sciences / Biology or any similar field - with at least 2 year s of studies remaining

Knowledge:
Experience with animal handling – advantage
Experience with cell cultures work– advantage
Knowledge in cancer research – advantage
Experience with FACS, fluorescent and confocal microscopy – advantage

Availability for at least 18 hours per week-at least 1 day in the middle of the week, the others during the weekend.
