Production Monitoring Specialists-IL

Global-e is looking for a hands-on Production Monitoring Specialist to join our growing TechOps team.

The Production Monitoring Specialist will be responsible for the company's production environment's stability.

We are looking for Production Monitoring Specialist with a positive and proactive Can-Do-Attitude who is passionate about delivering innovative proactive solutions and delighting our merchants. The Production Monitoring Specialist will work collaboratively, with verity of departments and be customer oriented. In this role, you will be required to identify trends and deficiencies and make recommendations for improvements. The Monitoring Specialist will report to the Monitoring Team Lead.

Responsibilities:

• Develop monitoring solutions to maximize uptime and minimize production issues.
• Day-to-day development, maintenance and clean-up of all Global-e’s monitoring systems.
• Identify and implement new alerts and monitoring requirements
• Review and suggest monitoring tools as needed
• Write, review, update and maintain the NOC playbook
• Participate in RCA processes, analyse causes of incidents, and provide recommendations to minimize probability of recurrence, and contribute to service improvement.
• Train the NOC team on tools and alerts
  
  

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT roles such as DevOps/SRE, integration & development
• Experience with Jira / Confluence / Host Monitor / Grafana (must) / Anodot / Coralogix / DataDog / Prometheus / ElasticSearch- Must!
• Significant experience working with production environment.
• Knowledge of SQL and experience working with relational databases- Must!
• Experience with AWS tools and administration or another cloud environments- Advantage
• Previous experience in an eCommerce environment- Advantage
• Experience programming in one or more of the following languages: Python, Bash, Java- Advantage
