Summary

We are seeking a Data Tech Lead to play a critical role in helping to shape one of our leading data products which is the main driver for product innovation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in data engineering, together with solid data analysis capabilities, to lead complex analysis projects and drive the development of advanced data products. This role involves building pipelines to automate report generation, eliminating human intervention.

Responsibilities

• Technically lead and mentor team of Data Analysts and Software Engineers, provide technical and business related guidance to help them elevate their skills
• Find creative solutions, balancing practicality and innovation, considering both short and long term implications
• Lead and oversee highly complicated data analysis projects, turning them into products while utilizing advanced analytical techniques and tools
• Develop fully automated report pipelines including core logic, ETLs and data visualization
• Work closely with other Engineering, Data Analysis and Data Science teams to ensure the optimal solution is built in terms of logic and infrastructure
• Collaborate with Product to find the right innovative solutions for product gaps
  
  

• BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of relevant working experience as a Data Engineer, preferably from a SaaS company
• Experience with Big Data technologies (PySpark, Airflow etc.) - a must
• Experience with analyzing data and extracting insights - advantage
• Experience with a data visualization tool (Tableau - advantage, Looker, Qlik etc.)
• Quick learner, proactive/can-do attitude with high attention to details
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to a constantly changing environment
• Excellent communication skills with fluent English (written and oral)
• Creative and critical thinking skills
• A team player with strong analytical and problem solving skills as well as business sense
• Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities and deliver results under tight deadlines
