Engineering Team Lead

Role Description

The company develops motion control and electro-optical systems used in the defense, surveillance, homeland security sectors, and their products are used for the defense programs worldwide.

The Engineering Team Lead is a core role in the company where you will play a pivotal role in developing and leading a multi-disciplinary team of engineers for advanced electro-optical systems (hardware, software, mechanics)

You will develop electro-optical systems, solve complex Engineering problems, and experiment with the latest technologies in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading a cross-functional engineering team, ensuring a great working environment and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
• Providing mentorship, inductions, and facilitating team members' professional growth.
• Developing and leading all phases of technology projects, from vision and strategy, architecture, project plan, execution and delivery.
• Planning and defining the product roadmap.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (e.g., Physics / Electronic engineering / Electro-optics / Mechanics)
• 5 years of proven experience in engineering leadership roles
• Advantage - Experience in the development of electro-optic probes / thermal simulation
• Advantage - Experience in the defense industry
• TEAM player with outstanding interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
