Mission

The Sustainability and Social Impact Sr Manager is committed to ambitious sustainable goals to be achieved across the company and the value chain and plays a leading role in breathing a change of mindset into the company.

With a cross-level approach, the role is to lead the sustainable transformation of SABON and support all business units in meeting CSR objectives and deliver on SABON’s commitments. To do so, piloting the B Corp project at global level is a crucial tool to build the brand’s CSR strategy, monitor progress and ensure constant innovation.

Acting as an ambassador, the Sustainability and Social Impact Sr Manager is carrying the voice of SABON to the Group and likewise, aligning SABON’S trajectory to the Group’s priorities and commitments.

Responsibilities

1.Global Sustainability and Social Impact strategy of the brand – contribution to the Group’s purpose

Fuel innovation & ensure roadmaps deployment and execution on all touchpoints.

Define the scope, build, and pilot the global Sustainability and Social Impact strategy of SABON based on these main pillars:

a/ Green mission: sustainable transformation of our facilities worldwide (retail, corporate offices, factory & logistic center) & product eco-conception roadmap.

b/ Bloominglives: nourish our brand’s raison d’etre to “bring and reveal nature’s wonders to infuse our communities’ lives with joy”

· direct contribution to the Group’s Purpose to “Reconnect People to Nature”: blooming stores & offices / upcycling philosophy / SABON city guide -> strategy, roadmaps, KPI’s and establishing taskforces.

c/ Define the Social Impact strategy (philanthropy) and oversee the deployment throughout SABON’s markets

2.Build the CSR brand mindset and deploy CSR strategy across all subsidiaries

§ Empower and engage stakeholders across all subsidiaries to embed the #greenmission and B Corp goals.

Contributions

§ Brand’s reputation and awareness: contribute to the recognition of SABON as a strong CSR committed brand.

§ Support the development of WE R CHANGE as a tool to mobilize employees and nourish the desirability of the employer brand.

§ CSR Communication and content Strategy: effectively contribute to the communication of social impact and sustainability externally as part of corporate brand communication and marketing initiatives.

Governance :

· Report to CEO

· Cross-functional and business units’ collaboration: head of departments & head of Markets (Japan, Israel, Europe, US) => actively participate in Management board meeting to share the vision and follow-up on the Sustainable and Social Impact strategy

· Link between the Brand, the Group’s CSR team and all brands’ CSR directors to create synergies and stay aligned with the Group’s ambitions.
