As a Validation Project Manager in our Reliability Lab, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing all validation and testing projects within the lab. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that products and systems meet quality and reliability standards. This position offers a unique opportunity to work directly with major automotive customers, driving our commitment to delivering high-quality, reliable products to our clients.
What will your job look like:
- Project Management: Lead, plan, and execute validation projects within the Reliability Lab, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Testing and Validation: Oversee the design and execution of test plans, protocols, and procedures for product and system validation.
- Team Leadership: Manage a team of validation engineers and technicians, providing guidance, training, and support.
- Resource Allocation: Allocate resources efficiently to meet project objectives and deadlines.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records, reports, and documentation of test processes, results, and any deviations.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring that potential issues are proactively addressed.
- Communication: Regularly communicate project status, updates, and issues to relevant stakeholders and leadership.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all validation activities comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Continuous Improvement: Seek opportunities to improve validation processes and methodologies, striving for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, science, or a related discipline). Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in project management, especially in a lab or testing environment.
- Strong knowledge of validation and reliability testing methodologies and best practices.
- Experience in managing cross-functional teams and resources.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements- an advantage
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
