Consolidation and Reporting Controller

We are seeking a talented and technology-oriented Consolidation and Reporting Controller to be responsible for managing the financial consolidation process and ensuring accurate and compliant financial reporting.

The selected candidate will be responsible for managing the accounting aspects of two global subsidiaries, including direct management of two controllers abroad.

* The position is defined as a temporary position as a replacement for maternity leave (at least until August 2024) with an option for a permanent position given the opportunity*

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Lead the financial consolidation process for the organization.
• Prepare annual reports (20-F), US GAAP consolidated financial statements and financial PRs.
• managing the accounting aspects of two global subsidiaries, including direct management of two controllers abroad.
• Review, analyze, and reconcile financial data from multiple entities and regions.
• Collaborate with finance teams across the organization to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
• Identify and address accounting and reporting discrepancies, making necessary adjustments as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements related to financial reporting.
• Assist in the development and implementation of accounting and consolidation policies and procedures including IT solutions.
• Lead process improvements to enhance efficiency and data accuracy.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field + CPA certification – a must.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience post internship, either in a global firm or as an assistant controller in a public company.
• Experience with US GAAP.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Driven by processes improvements through IT systems
• Proficiency in using financial consolidation software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to details and organizational skills.
• Strong managerial, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Fluency in English – a must.
