BI Back-End Developer

About The Position

The Data Analytics team’s mission is to empower Fireblocks with data through analysis, operational insights, strategic initiatives, and decision-making. We are looking for an experienced BI developer to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for data modeling as well as writing and implementing ELT data ingestion processes to our data warehouse. Your work will impact our business's success and growth.

To do well in this role, you must be technical and up-to-date with modern technology to automate manual data collection processes. You should have strong analytical skills, strong modeling skills and the ability to work well with other teams in the organization.

Responsibilities

• Technical design, implementation, optimization, monitoring, and governance of the ELT, data pipelines, and data lakehouse
• Interpret trends and patterns
• Prepare data for prescriptive and predictive modeling
• Explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability
• Work closely with data analysts to effectively model and build our data warehouse
• Develop and maintain the master data layer
• Adopting industry-leading technologies to support best-in-class business capabilities for high-performance computing and data storage solutions
  
  

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering and ETL/ELT development in a DWH environment
• Experience working with DBT
• Strong skills in data modeling
• Excellent understanding of DWH architecture and methodology
• Strong analytical skills
• Experience with troubleshooting and solving problems
• Worked in an agile environment
• Works well independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills with fluent English
• Works well under pressure
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, and equivalent degree

• Experience working with data visualization tools, such as Tableau
• Experience with AWS, Snowflake, and MySQL
