Chief Executive Officer/Project Manager

Company Description

Focal Medical Technology LTD. is an early-stage medical device start-up, funded by Peregrine Ventures and Israel Innovation Authority, and located in Incentive Incubator (Peregrine). We are developing a minimally invasive, energy-based system for mapping and focal ablation of prostate cancer.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role, and the Chief Executive Officer/Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and directing all operational aspects of our company, including planning and executing projects, developing business strategies and budgets, and managing cross-functional teams. The Chief Executive Officer/Project Manager will work with the leadership team to ensure that the organization's vision, mission, and objectives are met and will report to the Board of Directors.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CEO or in a similar executive leadership role, with at least 5 years of experience in a leadership position, preferably in the medical device or related industry
• Experienced in mechatronics engineering
• managed medical projects involving mechanics, electronics, robotics, software.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field, such as business, engineering, or science
• Experience in project management, product development, and commercialization
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective business strategies, manage budgets, and achieve business goals
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities, with experience managing cross-functional teams and building successful organizations
• Experience in fundraising, negotiating, and maintaining relationships with investors and stakeholders
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, start-up environment, and achieve results with limited resources
