Vice President of Quality

A globally-renowned industrial manufacturing company specializing in advanced military products in the southern region is actively seeking a Vice President of Quality. This pivotal role will directly report to the CEO and also hold a position on the board. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversight, guidance, and training for all quality teams.
• Accountability for the quality system, including establishing quality objectives and conducting internal quality assessments.
• Leadership in the realm of industry standards and quality best practices.
• Thorough analysis and ongoing evaluation of the quality system's effectiveness.
• Taking charge of the development and monitoring of quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Leading discussions within the factory's Material Review Board (MRB) committees and conducting international customer surveys.
• Collaboration with IDF quality testers.
• Statistical analysis and enhancement of factory quality metrics.

Key Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Quality Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Aeronautics – mandatory.
• CQE certification - an advantage.
• A minimum of 15 years of experience in managing quality teams comprising more than 40 members.
• Mandatory experience in a manufacturing industrial setting.
• Proficiency in building consensus and fostering relationships among executives, partners, and the workforce.
• A demonstrated ability and willingness to collaborate and learn from experienced executives.
• Possession of an entrepreneurial mindset, and outstanding organizational and leadership capabilities, including problem-solving, decision-making, and delegation.
• Experience in the metal industry/machining/ chip processing
• Proven expertise in driving continuous improvement processes.
• High motivation, a propensity for risk-taking, and a profound desire to make a meaningful impact on the world.
• Exceptional proficiency in English, maintained to a highly professional standard.
• Knowledge of additional languages is considered an advantage.
