Job Description

The Ethernet Smart NIC group develops high-speed cutting-edge Ethernet controller ASICs for Cloud customers with support for Crypto and Compression capabilities, advanced HW-based storage protocols and compute capabilities.

As a system and power validation student in the Smart NIC group, you will develop and create cutting edge system engineering flows to be applied on the newest Intel products of the Servers and Data Centers Comms. You will define and develop system validation environment, build test cases to fit customers use cases, and validate it under emulation and platform level techniques to ensure performance to spec. You will be responsible for the development of methodologies, develop the system validation flows during pre-si stages, drive bring-up of Si and Emulation systems, execute validation plans, and highly complex failures debug involving both SW and HW complexities. You will be required for broad understanding of multiple system flows as well as high engagement with Architecture, Design, and Pre-silicon Validation teams, improving post silicon validation feedback for future design of Si steps and on-die debug features.

Qualifications

Bsc/Msc student for Electrical Engineering /Computer Engineering/ SW Engineering.

At least 2 more remaining semesters to graduation.

Semester 3rd and above.

Availability for at least 20 hours per week.

Advantage

Familiarity with Linux based development environment

Programming experience in C/C++/Python

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.

In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
