Economics & Analytics Team Lead for a leading global cosmetic company

Job description:

Provide clear direction, mentorship and guidance to a team of two analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment_

Coordinate workload distribution, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely completion of tasks.

Translate complex analysis and economic insights into clear and concise reports,

presentations: and recommendations for senior leadership and key stakeholders.

Define and maintain KPI metrics for various units in the company.

Build and maintain business models and preform in-depth analysis in order to provide meaningful insights to support the company's growth.

Maintain data in the internal database system and improve cross-organizational work processes and procedures in this field.

Build forecasts for various units in the company.

Prepare materials for quarterly board meetings.

Collaborate with various units in the company to build and control the company's budget

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in economics: finance, engineering; or a related field- must
• Proven experience 5-7 years in analysis; economic forecasting, or a similar role: preferably in a consumer goods or retail industry.
• 3+ years of management experience.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team of analysts.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities; with a deep understanding of statistical analysis techniques and economic modeling.
• Proficiency in using data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL: statistical packages).
• Fluent English — required
• High level knowledge and familiarity with financial statements — required.
• Familiarity with priority — advantage.
• Familiarity with SQL and big data — an advantage
