For an exclusive global team (EMEA) in the care products field, we are looking for a local assistant controller!

Job Description:

• Responsible in preparing accurate financial statements in compliance with local regulation, and corporate policies & procedures, prepares various deliverables to support the financial reporting needs, including analytic commentary and supplementary financial analysis for management and other stakeholders.
• Ensure all relevant financial information are accounted correctly in the P&L and Balance Sheet, Provides analysis with specific focus on Balance Sheet
• Prepares annual Financial Statements of the company with all complementary reports and running the external audits
• Maintains and updates mapping of chart of accounts for HFM, US GAAP, ISR GAAP and statutory accounts, Maintains and updates the statutory accounts in the system to facilitate business analysis
• Supervises all general ledger entries including payroll & benefits
• Calculates all accruals according to statutory and reporting requirements, ensures all of them are recorded on a timely manner
• Participates in periodic closure - reporting and all other HFM requests, performs all relevant tasks, Delivers Ad hoc requests and participates in projects, Works closely with the cluster S&F team and the Cluster Controller
• Approve and monitors payment process including vendors, intercompany and associates
• Supervises credit control process at local level ensuring that there is proper process in place and certain limits are setup in the system
• Supervises credit notes process at local level ensuring that there is proper process in place and certain limits are setup in the system
• Provides advice on daily accounting queries and tax issues where possible. maintains close relationship with ICTC to seek any tax & accounting consultancy

Must have:

• Certified CPA
• 3+ years of experience in Finance & Accounting
• Big 5 audit firms would be a plus
• Understanding of accounting & reporting principles and procedures including taxes
• Hands on mentality – self driven, agile
• Very good English Language skills, in writing and speaking (first interview in English)
