Senior Visual\UI Designer

PTC, a global provider of CAD, PLM, IoT and AR solutions, is looking for a Senior Visual Designer with 3D design tools background to join our Product Design team. In the Product Design team, we work closely with cross-functional teams, to deliver experiences that meet both user and business goals. We are dedicated to innovation, creativity, and delivering exceptional user experiences.

As part of your job at PTC, you will:

• Lead the visual design and creative direction for user interface of our products, both on premise and SaaS, ensuring a cohesive and consistent visual language.
• Define a modern visual language for UI and iconography, with a clear ruleset and design guidelines that can be leveraged by other graphic designers.
• Define best practices and internal processes (and tools) for efficient delivery and high quality of graphic assets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UX, Product and Engineering, to understand project requirements and translate them into visually appealing icons or diagrams that clearly convey a purpose.
• Collaborate with the UX team to create seamless experiences following user journeys and considering proper information architecture, and interaction design principles.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and design best practices to continually enhance our design process and deliver cutting-edge visual experiences.
• Mentor and guide designers, providing feedback and fostering a collaborative and inclusive design culture.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in UI Design in a software company.
• 1+ years of experience in leadership of a design team.
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, a related field or equivalent experience.
• A strong work portfolio demonstrating the ability to design complex user experiences, as well as excellent visual design skills.
• In-depth knowledge of visual design principles, typography and iconography. Pixel-perfect attitude, with attention to the smallest of details.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Team player with excellent communication skills.
• Fluent English

Advantages

• Acquaintance with CAD software (Creo, Autocad, Catia, Solidworks etc.) .
• Experience in 3D software (Maya, 3ds Max, Rhino3D, ZBrush etc.) .
• 2+ years of experience in relevant design discipline for enterprise product experiences.
• Experience in user experience definition process and usability principles.
• Acquaintance with prototyping tools (Figma, Axure, Visio, Indigo etc.) .
