Senior Information Security Specialist

A government agency located in Jerusalem is looking for a monitoring and information security specialist - part-time as a freelancer

As part of the job:

*Continuous improvement process of the service managed by the customer. Address technical escalation to analyst and CSOC manager

*Quality control on how to manage the connection of the infrastructure to the SIEM system, servers, operating systems, information and cyber security products, backups, etc.

* Initiation and assistance of rule definitions and correlations in the SIEM system

*Constitutes the professional party vis-à-vis the ordering party in regards to linking the ordering party's systems to SIEM, including raising the ordering party's requirements for the preparation of logs and alerts

Requirements:

Practical experience of at least five years in the fields of practice described in the job responsibilities

education:

Academician with a bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering/science

or

An academic/engineer with at least 7 years of experience in the listed fields of practice

or

High school education with at least 10 years of experience in the listed occupations

Experience:

5 years of experience in managing complex IT systems

A broad background in the fields of information security with an emphasis on identifying applicative and infrastructural threats and weaknesses

Background in understanding communication infrastructures and organizational systems

Ability and experience in investigating complex information security incidents

Familiarity with the offensive world, knowledge of diverse infrastructural/fallicative attack methods and techniques

Deep knowledge of security control and monitoring and ability to analyze malicious files

Can be good at managing response and control teams
