Backend Team Lead

Key Duties

• Take the leading role in the team of talented backend engineers, share your experience and demonstrate your expertise building the market-leading product

• Design and implement serverless, event-driven architecture

• Build a highly scalable data platform for diversified and complex data flows

• Have end-to-end ownership: Design, build, ship, measure, and maintain our backend services. You build it — you own it.

• Work closely with our fantastic Product team that created an industry-leading SaaS Product-Led-Growth offering

Desired Qualifications

• 5 Years of hands-on experience in back-end software development using JavaScript/TypeScript and nodejs - MUST

• Proven experience of leading team of 4+ engineers. Larger/multiple teams — big advantage

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Familiarity with testing frameworks and tools, including unit testing, API testing and end-to-end

• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and modular code, and perform code reviews for the team members

• Awareness of performance optimization techniques for web applications and backends

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Experience in designing and maintaining microservices and FaaS

• Experience with cloud infrastructures and architectures – specifically AWS
