Component Engineer

We’re looking for a Component Practical Engineer to join our engineering department.

You will be cataloging and locating components including running compatibility tests in the lab for the circuit or against replacement components. You will have internal and external interfaces regarding component engineering.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Managing all manufacturer notifications received by PCN
• Working with manufacturers and suppliers of electronic components in Israel and around the world
• Managing the entire life cycle of the component:
• Active, Not to be used, EOL, Obsolete
• Working with external databases for components (such as IHS)

REQUIREMENTS

• Electronic Practical Engineering degree – a must
• Fluency in English (reading and writing) – a must
• 2 Years of experience as a Component Practical Engineer – advantage
• Knowledge of using computerized configuration control systems (Like Agile) – advantage
• Knowledge of relevant environmental standards (RoHS, REACH) – advantage
