ATE System Engineer

Innoviz is a world-leader cutting-edge LiDAR development company.

The ATE Group leads the development of complex, multidisciplinary (software, hardware, optics, mechanics) capital equipment machinery designed for the performance calibration, testing and production of the Innoviz cutting-edge LiDAR technology. The Project Manager is responsible for developing, planning, and executing Innoviz's R&D, integrations, and delivery of such machines across numerous engineering disciplines and across company interfaces.

As a key member of the system engineering team, you will:

• Take end-to-end responsibility for calibrations and automatic testing of several features of the company’s leading product
• Design and build the future state-of-the-art mass production machine for Innoviz’s new generation LiDAR
• Interact with multi-disciplinary systems and teams
• Become a focal point for your relevant feature
• Execute complex system integration tests and experiments
• Write scripts in Python as proof of concept or as the final implementation of system features
  
  

• B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering or Exact Sciences from a leading university - a must
• At least 5 years of experience as a system engineer (E2E - from architecture to integration of multidisciplinary systems)- a must
• Experience with hardware/electronics - a must
• Experience in Python
• Hands-on integration experience
• Good familiarity with testing and measurement tools and equipment
• Experience in computer vision - advantage
• Experience in motion/robotics - advantage
• Experience in lasers / electro-optics / sensors - advantage
• Team player and Independent. The ATE Group leads the development of complex, multidisciplinary (software, hardware, optics, mechanics) capital equipment machines designed for the characterization, testing and production of the Innoviz cutting-edge LiDAR technology. The System Engineering team within the group is responsible for the development of multidisciplinary features, such as algorithms, processes, calibrations, experiments, performance analysis, etc., as well as system-level definitions and hardware design.
