Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Medical Physicist at Soroka Medical Center in Beer Sheva. Israel. The Medical Physicist will be responsible for providing expert advice to healthcare professionals on the safe use of radiation for both diagnosis and treatment purposes. The Medical Physicist will also be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring radiation safety programs, as well as maintaining and calibrating radiation equipment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Medical Physics or related field
- Minimum of 2-years of experience in the field of Medical Physics
- Good understanding of radiation physics and its applications to medicine
- Expertise in radiation safety regulations and procedures
- Proficiency in using radiation measurement equipment and software
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Experience in Elekta software is an advantage
- Monaco and MOSAIQ software
- Hebrew is not a necessity.
