Full Stack Team Leader

Our ever evolving, state-of-the-art machine learning technology analyzes tens of TB of raw data per day to produce millions of ad recommendations in real-time.

We are looking for a Fullstack Team Leader who can rally a team behind a vision, build it efficiently, and have the foresight to help the company scale through software. This position is meant for those who want to be in the thick of things and make impactful decisions.

You will be maintaining and building our most sensitive systems and platforms that enable and empower our company’s growth. In our data-driven environment, your team's planning and implementation has a crucial role in our ability to support our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Design, code, and manage large scale, highly available, real-time (low latency) services using cutting edge technologies (Node.js, React, Redis, Presto, Kubernetes, etc. over AWS).
• Work with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Data, and Design teams to craft the most optimal solutions for our problems
• Design and develop APIs or integrate with 3rd party APIs
• Performing code reviews to other team members
• Assist in-house teams and supply creative solutions for various problems
• Understand and implement security and data protection needs
• Mentor team members to reach their full potential
• Hire new team members
• Manage a time-efficient sprint plan
  
  

• 6+ years of coding experience:
• Backend (NodeJS is preferred)
• Frontend (One of the popular frameworks; React, Vue, Angular)
• Working knowledge with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Working with one of the cloud providers: AWS, Google, Microsoft
• 2+ years of management experience
• Experience in the software life cycle and knowing how to work in an agile environment
• Comfortable with receiving code reviews, as well as giving code reviews to others
• Self-sufficient, capable of learning alone
• Can-do attitude
