The City of David is a non-profit organization in Jerusalem that aims to strengthen the connection of people from around the world to ancient Jerusalem's glorious past through archaeological excavation, tourism development, and educational programming. The organization runs activities at five historic sites in ancient Jerusalem, including the City of David National Park, and has been recognized as one of Israel's National Heritage Sites.

Role Description

The City of David is looking for a full-time Executive Fundraiser to join its team. The Executive Fundraiser will work on-site in Jerusalem to develop and implement fundraising strategies to support the organization's initiatives. Day-to-day tasks will include identifying potential donors, building relationships with current donors, organizing tours with donors, and managing communications with donors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in fundraising, sales or business development with a proven track record of results.

• BA required, higher degree preferred.

• Native English and high level verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Able to work with and connect to a diverse range of donors, including the entire spectrum of world Jewry. Knowledgeable about, and able to relate to, North Americans.

• Passionate about and committed to the mission and goals of the City of David.

** Requires travel abroad approximately 6-8 times a year.
