Job Description:

Technical and engineering responsibility for the proper functioning of the research laboratory, including instruction and development of new capabilities: handling laboratory equipment, opto-mechanical design using computers, developing computer-controlled tools for experiments, conducting routine and periodic maintenance of scientific equipment.

Development of new experiments.

Training and assistance to students conducting projects and research in research and instructional laboratories.

Equipment and apparatus procurement, working with suppliers.

Role Requirements:

• Academic degree in Physics and/or Electrical Engineering.

• Critical professional thinking.

• Ability and willingness to learn new things and implement them.

• Experience with lasers – an advantage.
