The Role

Veeva is in search of a backend engineer in the Core Analyst Tools. You will be in charge of developing and maintaining Apache Spark applications that process large volumes of medical records securely while preserving patient privacy.

What You'll Do

• Be part of an efficient development team that focuses on Crossix core technology and peripheral analytical tools
• Write backend code in Java, which is highly reliable, scalable, and efficiently processes Big Data
• Integrate with Relational DB, MongoDB, and AWS services (S3, Queues, etc)
• Write automation regression tests /Unit test
• Develop new applications as required and maintain legacy applications responsibly
• Be part of an excellent agile team
  
  

• 3+ years of software development
• 2+ years of programming experience in server-side components/ backend technologies.
• 2+ years of experience with Java/Spring Boot
• 2+ years of experience with SQL
• B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent
  
  

• Familiar with Big Data distributed computing, such as Apache Spark
• Ability to lead and independently deliver features from end-to-end
• Experience with Relational DBs, Spring Framework
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools
