About The Role
110,000 professionals working together to improve patient’s life and you can be one of them! Novartis Israel is looking for a Medical Representative, Oncology. This is an important role within our squad team. You will be responsible for execution of business plans to meet business goals for an assigned territory. You will drive territory product performance and market share, and develop effective professional business relationships with customers, in accordance with the Novartis Customer Solution Model.
Your key responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Build a win-win business relationships with customers to ensure short-term and long-term results; understand their needs, environment, and potential and provide customized solutions with our products and services to gain firm commitment for prescriptions
- Adapt and optimize the approach and communication style during calls with customers and ensure adequate pre-call planning, post-call evaluation and keep promises. Gain detailed knowledge of competitors’ products.
- Implement squad strategy and tactical plan and gather insights from the field and report back to the squad to support refining and adapting both the plan and strategy. Work with all relevant partners and squad members to ensure “closing” of the loop. Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as medical advisor, MSLs, KAMs to ensure our customers are receiving the best tailored solution based on their needs
- Use available resources and invest according to Business plan (all plans, and events must have clear objectives, be accurate, truthful and appropriate for their intended context)
- Be responsible to plan for a highly proactive and productive approach to the territory with the best return on investment (ROI)
- Be accountable for a quarterly business plan (actions, priorities, investments). Monitor it and follow-up on it
- Act as a Novartis ambassador, bring to life the company values in all interactions with colleagues and customers according to vision/mission statements and the core competences. Act according to Novartis regulations and local regulations.

Role Requirements
What you’ll bring to the role:
- High level academic education in Life science and/or technical qualifications, such as nursing, pharmacy, or physiotherapy
- 2-5 years of Medical Representative experience is required
- High ability to read, analyze and interpret medical research
- Excellent communication skills in Hebrew and English
- Superb Presentation skills, high digital abilities and learning agility
- Driving license – role requires travelling
- Project management skills
- Out of box thinking and innovative approach
