What is the job

As the Director of Business Analysis, you will lead a team of analysts, providing strategic direction and oversight for all analytics and data-driven insights that drive business decisions within the organization.

You will be a key liaison between various departments, ensuring that data solutions are aligned with the company's business objectives.

Your role will encompass a mix of strategic leadership and hands-on analytics work to provide a roadmap for data analysis that informs and shapes the company's growth.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic direction for the business analysis data team, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
• Team Management: Recruit, train, and manage a team of business analysts.
• Data Governance: Establish and oversee data governance protocols, ensuring the integrity and security of all data.
• Analytics and Reporting: Oversee the design and delivery of data analytics reports to guide decision-making processes.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with department heads, project managers, and executives to translate business needs into data-driven solutions.
• Communication: Effectively communicate complex data findings in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders.
• Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve analytics processes to ensure maximum efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in data analytics, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Deep expertise in data analytics tools like SQL, Python, and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Proven experience with big data technologies like Spark and EMR is highly desirable.
• Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to manage cross-functional teams.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
• Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
