Hunters is seeking a highly skilled Senior Infrastructure Engineer who will play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining our cloud and database infrastructure. Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure Development: Demonstrates a fervent commitment to software development, continuously striving to push the boundaries and deliver innovative solutions.
• Infrastructure Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and architect scalable, resilient, and secure cloud and database infrastructure solutions that meet our business needs.
• Monitoring and Optimization: Implement monitoring and alerting solutions to identify and resolve infrastructure issues proactively. Continuously optimize infrastructure for cost-efficiency and performance.
• Database Management: Manage and optimize database systems, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
• Cloud Services: Utilize cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP to build and manage infrastructure components, including virtual machines, container orchestration, and serverless computing.
• Security and Compliance: Ensure infrastructure adheres to security best practices and compliance standards. Implement security controls and encryption mechanisms.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure designs, configurations, and procedures.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with software development teams to provide infrastructure support and guidance, ensuring seamless integration of applications with the infrastructure.
• Mentorship: Mentor junior team members and provide technical leadership within the infrastructure development team.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in infrastructure development, with a track record of successful project implementations.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a developer (Python, Scala, Go )
• Proficiency in infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.) and experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is highly desirable.
• Extensive experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), including the ability to design and deploy infrastructure on these platforms.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, and security fundamentals.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive and analytical mindset.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)- An Advantage.
