Customer Services Engineer – DATA / IP Expert

Position Summary

We are looking for a Customer Services Resident Engineer with at least 3 years of experience in the DATA / IP domain. In-depth & experience with routing protocols such as EIGRP, OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, PIM, MPLS-TP/IP, STP, L2/3VPN….

Troubleshooting, planning, supporting, and maintaining critical customer networks.

Expertise with Cisco & Juniper telecommunication equipment.

You will be part of a global organization and be located on customer premises.

Responsibilities:

• Improve network performance and optimization
• Assistance with network design & implementation
• Deliver best practices and solutions
• Assistance with troubleshooting and operations
• Generate customized weekly reports
• Preproduction Lab support & testing
• Perform network health assessment
• Introduce new operating procedures
• Conduct technical workshops for the support teams
• Generate customized HLD / LLD
• Perform customized On Job Training –OJT
  
  

• 3 years of experience & knowledge in telecommunication protocols
• Fluent English (Read & Write)
• Knowledge & experience in SDH, DWDM, OTN - advantage
• Knowledge & experience in Unix/Linux operating systems
• Expertise with Ethernet protocols, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN protocols, Switching and Routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, RIP, MPLS-TP/IP, STP, L2/3VPN….)
• Rich experience working with Cisco & Juniper equipment
• Relevant certifications such as - CCNA, CCNP, JNCIS-ENT, JNCIP-ENT
• Be a part of a global services Center which provides a variety of services 24/7/365
• Work is independent and collaborative in nature. Provides regular updates to the manager on project/account status

• Degree in Electronics Engineering / Practical Engineering
