Laboratory Assistant

Laboratory of Alternative Binders is part of the National Building Research Institute at Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, located in Haifa District, Israel. The laboratory is run by Dr. Semion Zhutovsky and specializes in research on alternative binders for construction materials.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Laboratory Assistant. The Laboratory Assistant will perform testing procedures, operate and maintain laboratory equipment, and utilize laboratory skills to assist in the research and development of alternative binders for construction materials.

Qualifications

• Precision, Thoroughness, and Analytical Skills
• Experience with laboratory equipment and laboratory procedures
• Strong communication skills, with an ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Experience with construction materials is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field is preferred
• Fluent in both Hebrew and English languages
