Security Operations Center Manager

About Us:

We are an emergency transportation organization seeking a highly skilled SOC Team Leader to play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team management in the field
• Maintenance of existing control and monitoring systems
• Planning and implementation of control and monitoring systems
• Team management in control roles
• Writing and fine-tuning alerting rules
• Incident detection, identification, and cyber event analysis
• Basic incident response and deployment of suitable technological tools for event mitigation

Requirements:

• At least two years of comprehensive experience in SOC or SOC management
• In-depth understanding of the OSI model
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems
• Understanding of communication protocols
• Knowledge of common ports
• Extensive knowledge of cybersecurity concepts: web shells, port scanning, CERT, IR, Sandbox, cyber kill chain
• Proficiency in cyber attack types and threats
• Familiarity with communication and information security products such as FW, NAC, AV, switches, SSL VPN, and EDR
• Deep knowledge of incident handling methodology
• Proficiency with SIEM systems, specifically QRadar
