Senior Technical Writer (B2B SaaS):

We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer to join our team at Volumez. As a Technical Writer, you will play a critical role in creating comprehensive and user-friendly documentation for our cutting-edge SaaS, that is reshaping what DevOps and ITOps can do with cloud data infrastructure.

Volumez is located in the Azrieli Center in Tel-Aviv, with offices in the US. The position is in the Tel-Aviv office or hybrid.

What you’ll do

·      Develop and maintain a variety of documentation types, e.g., technical guides, API documentation, FAQs, knowledge base articles and technical videos – in alignment with Volumez’s content strategy.

·      Research, understand, and interpret complex technical concepts related to our solution and translate them into clear, concise, and easy-to-understand documentation.

·      Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and subject matter experts, to gather information and insights required for documentation creation.

·      Collaborate with the product team to ensure that documentation is aligned with product updates, new features, and improvements.

·      Develop engaging and well-structured content that addresses the needs of both technical and non-technical users, catering to different learning styles. Create documentation that adheres to branding guidelines, and industry best practices.

·      Take ownership of the end-to-end documentation process, from drafting initial content to reviewing, editing, finalizing documents, and incorporating user feedback.

 Mandatory Qualifications

·      Experience of at least 3 years as a Technical Writer for deeply technical B2B SaaS products.

·      Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to ask the right questions. Proficiency in English.

·      Customer-focused thinking.

·      Team player with a “can-do” approach, curious, results driven.

·      Experience working in an agile environment and methodology.

 Desired Qualifications

·      Experience with documenting Cloud / Infrastructure products, with an understanding of DevOps / ITOps as the audience.

·      Experience documenting Kubernetes and cloud-native products.

·      Experience in creating technical short videos to complement written documentation.

·      Capability to refine higher-level marketing artifacts such as blogs, ensuring alignment with messaging and brand identity.
